Once you have created a KashFlow account, you will need to enable the API on it.

The API is available free of charge to all KashFlow users - this is regardless of whether you have a free 60 day trial account or a paid subscription.

Follow these steps to enable the API on your account:

1) Log in to your KashFlow account from the KashFlow Homepage.

2) Click the 'Settings' tab and choose 'API Settings'.

3) Tick the box to enable the API and click update

4) Optionally, you may choose to restrict API access to specific IP addresses..

If you do choose to restrict access then you will needs to add some IP addresses. In the case of downloadable programs this will be the IP address of the computer you are running the programs from. The IP address of the computer you are reading this from is 38.107.191.96.

If you have pages on your own website that need to access your account then you'd need to enter the IP address of your webserver,
